I have had
15 years experience with the Airborne Geophysical Survey industry. My area of
expertise is principally in software development; however I have had many years
experience in digital data processing, image processing and map production and
presentation products.
I have
written specialist software packages for data processing airborne magnetic and
radiometric data, and also ground penetrating radar data.
I use ER
Mapper as the image processing package of choice as I have found that it gives
you greatest control over the quality and types of image products you are able
to produce.
In
addition to the ER Mapper filters, I also have written custom applications to
produce filters and gridded data for image enhancement.
I have
been employed at Kevron Geophysics (Software development, data processing) ,
Baigent Geosciences (Software development, data processing), Fugro Airborne Surveys (Software development), and ERG Pty.
Ltd. (Software development). I have also worked privately as a contract
software developer.
